Commercial Journeyman Plumber – New Construction

East Texas Refrigeration (ETR) has proudly served East Texas since 1980. We are a growing HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing company with a strong pipeline of commercial new-construction projects throughout the Tyler and Longview area.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Journeyman Plumber to join our new-construction team.

What You'll Do

You will work on large-scale commercial and industrial construction projects from rough-in through final installation.

Responsibilities include:

• Install new commercial and industrial plumbing systems on ground-up construction projects
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and project specifications
• Install piping, fixtures, equipment, and other plumbing components
• Inspect completed installations and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure work meets applicable plumbing codes, project specifications, and ETR quality standards
• Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements
• Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades to keep projects on schedule
• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Mentor and assist apprentices as needed

What We're Looking For

• Valid Texas Journeyman Plumber License – required
• 2+ years of commercial plumbing experience , preferably in new construction
• Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, tools, and installation techniques
• Ability to read plans and specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Professional communication and teamwork skills
• Leadership or apprentice-mentoring experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug and background checks
• Ability to work safely on active construction sites and perform the physical requirements of the job
